We are actively engaged in estate planning for our clients with both large and more modest estates. We utilize revocable trusts whenever appropriate in order to reduce costs and inconvenience and to provide efficient transfer of property at death. This facet of our practice includes preparation of wills, trusts, and durable powers of attorney, preparation of federal estate tax returns and handling audits and advising regarding family and charitable gift planning and implementation.

One of the partners of the firm has been certified as a specialist in probate, estate planning and trust law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and regularly lectures on the subject throughout Northern California.

This practice area also includes charitable gift planning and implementation. We represent several public charities and are actively involved in drafting and reviewing charitable remainder trusts and other charitable gift devices.
