Ryan Sydenham focuses his practice on strategic portfolio development, with an emphasis on patent prosecution in the electronics, software and mechanical arts. He counsels clients in a variety of technology areas, including consumer electronics and medical devices.

While attending law school, Mr. Sydenham served as a research assistant for a professor writing a textbook on Chinese business law. He also worked as a patent clerk for Apple Inc.

Prior to joining the legal profession, Mr. Sydenham was a research assistant in a cross-disciplinary research team at Brigham Young University, which has since led to the formation of Millenniata Inc. He assisted in the development of a new archival grade optical storage media technology, embodied in the M-DISCTM. Additionally, he externed with the Power Systems Division of John Deere Corporation. In that capacity, he was part of a team that designed and constructed an innovative dynamometer prototype for a new quality assurance program.

Mr. Sydenham is fluent in Chinese.
