Experience

Roland Nikles, Managing Partner of Bell, Rosenberg & Hughes, is current chair of the Legal Advisory Committee of the California Association of General Contractors, and chair of the Forms Committee. His practice encompasses a wide array of construction-industry matters such as competitive bidding and negotiation, contract administration, project monitoring, scheduling and delay issues, cost overruns, mechanic’s lien and bond rights, and claims management and resolution.

Roland has handled multimillion dollar disputes on high-profile, complex construction projects and has achieved favorable settlements and judgments on behalf of his clients. Major projects include the Stowe Mountain Lodge in Vermont, San Jose Repertory Theater Project, the San Mateo County Medical Center, the Alameda County Medical Center, and Hearst Mining Hall. He is an American Bar Association section member for the Forum on the Construction Industry. He received his J.D. in 1983 from the University of Puget Sound and is licensed to practice in California and Washington and is a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar.
