PHIL TAGAMI ON REDEVELOPING THE OAKLAND ARMY BASE

Phil Tagami addressed a packed house at our recent BR&H Breakfast Forum and presented a fascinating overview of the opportunities and challenges faced in redevloping the Oakland Army Base. The initial proposal contemplates a $1 billion project that will generate over 3,000 new jobs, clean up contamination, rejuvenate the Port’s operations, and reinforce the vital connection between Oakland and its port.

BR&H HELPS REBUILD OAKLAND WITH RTO PROJECT

Over the course of the last three weekends--and a several evenings--volunteers from Bell, Rosenberg & Hughes teamed up with members of the FAB Law and RINA firms to dramatically refurbish the home of an elderly East Oakland homeowner. The project was part of a the Rebuilding Together Oakland program, which helps elderly and disabled homeowners maintain independent living by ensuring that their houses receive necessary safety and maintenance improvements.
